About
My Journey
My career began with a cadetship in New Zealand, earned not through luck but preparation and intent. From day one, I learned that growth comes when you step up before you feel fully ready. Each challenge became a vote of confidence, and even mistakes turned into opportunities to build resilience and credibility.
As I progressed, I discovered the power of stacking skills — combining technical expertise with communication, project management, and leadership. This mix made me not just technically capable, but someone teams, managers, and clients could rely on. By making my work visible, supporting others, and anticipating needs, I built trust and opened doors to bigger opportunities.
In just 5 years, these strategies helped me more than quadruple my salary without leaving the industry, starting a business, or earning another degree. My journey has been about working smarter, taking ownership, and being intentional — lessons I now share with other engineers who want to accelerate their careers.
